ਫਰਮਾ:Infobox civilian attack 2016 ਪਠਾਨਕੋਟ ਹਮਲਾ 2 ਜਨਵਰੀ 2016 ਨੂੰ ਪਠਾਨਕੋਟ ਹਵਾਈ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਅੱਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਹਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ 2 ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਅਤੇ 3 ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ।[1][2] 2 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ 17 ਘੰਟੇ ਚੱਲਦੀ ਰਹੀ।[3] ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਦੀ ਵਰਦੀ ਪਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ[4] ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੱਕ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਜੈਸ਼-ਏ-ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਸਲਾਮੀ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਜਥੇਬੰਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਸਨ।[5]
3 ਜ਼ਖ਼ਮੀ ਫ਼ੌਜੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖ਼ਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 6 ਹੋ ਗਈ।[6] 3 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਫੇਰ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਚੱਲਣ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਧਮਾਕੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।[7][8] ਇਹ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ 4 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਚੱਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਪੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।[9] 4 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਏ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਜਿਹਾਦ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਨੇ ਲਈ।[10]
