ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ

ਬੈਂਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਤੰਤਰ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਹੀ ਅੱਡ ਪਾਰਟੀ, ਲੋਕ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਅਤੇ 2017 ਪੰਜਾਬ ਚੋਣ ਲਈ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਗਠਜੋੜ ਕੀਤਾ।^[5]

ਵਿਵਾਦ

24 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2016 ਨੂੰ ਬੈਂਸ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਨੇ ਲਾਢੋਵਾਲ ਟੋਲ ਪਲਾਜ਼ਾ ਤੇ ਟੋਲ ਬੈਰੀਅਰ ਉਠਵਾਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਟੋਲ ਦਾ ਭੁਗਤਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਟ੍ਰੈਫਿਕ ਲੰਘਾਈ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ 30 ਮਿੰਟ ਤੋਂ ਲੰਘਣ ਲਈ ਉਡੀਕ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ।^[6]
