| main = | other | #default = }}}} ਫਰਮਾ:IPA-hns) ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਾਰੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਨੇ 1857 ਦਾ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਸੰਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਝਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਉਹ ਝਾਂਸੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਲਕਸ਼ਮੀਬਾਈ ਦੀ ਨੇਮੀ ਫੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ, ਮਹਿਲਾ ਸ਼ਾਖਾ ਦੁਰਗਾ ਦਲ ਦੀ ਸੈਨਾਪਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਗਰੀਬ ਕੋਲੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਨਮੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਲਕਸ਼ਮੀ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਆਮ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਹ ਦੇਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਅਹਿਮ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਿਆਂ 'ਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਦੇ ਪਧਰ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਗਈ ਸੀ।[3] ਉਹ ਲਕਸ਼ਮੀਬਾਈ ਦੀ ਹਮਸ਼ਕਲ ਵੀ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਵੈਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਧੋਖਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਰਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਭੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਆਪਣੇ ਅੰਤਮ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਰਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਭੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਾਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਥੋਂ ਫੜੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਨਿਕਲਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲ ਗਿਆ।[3][4]
