ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ (26 ਜਨਵਰੀ 1687 – 7 ਦਸੰਬਰ 1705), ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦੇ ਸਨ। ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾboutsikhs.com/sikh-martyrs/sikh-martyrs-sahibzada-ajit-singh-ji-amp-jujhar-singh-ji | title=ਸਾਹਿਬਜਾਂਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ | publisher=allaboutsikhs.com | date=01 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2012 | accessdate=ਨਵੰਬਰ 01, 2012}}</ref>। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ-ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਈ। ਘੋੜ ਸਵਾਰੀ, ਸ਼ਸਤਰ-ਵਿੱਦਿਆ, ਤੀਰ-ਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਪੁੰਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।
ਸਾਕਾ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ
19-20 ਦਸੰਬਰ 1704 ਨੂੰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਕਿੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਛੱਡਿਆ। ਸਰਸਾ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਹੋਈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਬਾਕੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਰਸਾ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਗਏ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸਰਸਾ ਪਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ। ਰੋਪੜ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਵੀ ਪਠਾਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਾਈ ਹੋਈ। ਇਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਬਾਕੀ 40 ਸਿੰਘਾ ਸਮਤੇ ਸਰਸਾ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ। ਇਥੇ ਚੌਧਰੀ ਬੁਧੀ ਚੰਦ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਗੜ੍ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੋ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ 40 ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਨੇ 10 ਲੱਖ ਦੀ ਫੌਜ ਦਾ ਡੱਟ ਕੇ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੋ ਗਏ[1]।
