ਫਰਮਾ:Infobox personਹੇਮਲਤਾ ਗੁਪਤਾ (ਡੀ 2006) ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਡੀ ਹਾਰਡਿੰਗ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਰ੍ਦੇਸ਼ਿਕਾ ਸਨ।[1] ਉਸ ਨੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਲੇਡੀ ਹਾਰਡਿੰਗ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜ, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਬਣ ਗਏ।[2] ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਕਿਤਸਾ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਲਈ ਤੀਜੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਸਨਮਾਨ, ਪਦਮ ਭੂਸ਼ਣ ਨਾਲ 1998 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।[3] ਉਹ ਕੁੰਵਾਰੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ' ਤੇ 13 ਮਈ 2006 ਨੂੰ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿਵਾਸ, ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਪਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।[4][5] ਕਈ ਸਾਲ ਤਫ਼ਤੀਸ਼ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ, ਜਿਸ ਕੇਸ ਨੇ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਖਿੱਚਿਆ, ਉਹ ਕੇਸ ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਅਣਸੁਲਝਿਆ ਹੈ।[6][7]
