ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਨੁਸਰਤ ਫਤਿਹ ਅਲੀ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਆਰੰਭਿਕ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਰੇਹਮਤ ਗ੍ਰਾਮੋਫ਼ੋਨ ਹਾਊਸ ਨਾਲ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਰ.ਜੀ.ਐਚ. ਲੇਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਗਿਆ। 70 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ '80 ਦੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ' ਚ ਨੁਸਰਤ ਫਤਿਹ ਅਲੀ ਖਾਨ ਨੇ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਐਲਬਮਾਂ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਚ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਇੱਕ ਜਾਂ ਦੋ ਲੰਬੇ ਗਾਣੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਗਲੋਬਲ ਰਿਥਮ ਦੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ ਨਿਕਸਨ, ਦਲੀਲ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਖਾਨ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਕ੍ਰਿਆ ਦਾ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਨਾ ਇੱਕ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਠਿਨ ਕੰਮ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
ਨੁਸਰਤ ਫ਼ਤਿਹ ਅਲੀ ਖ਼ਾਨ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ ਐਲਬਮ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ. ਓ.ਐਸ.ਏ, ਬਰਮਿੰਘਮ ਨੇ ਲਗਭਗ 125 ਆਡੀਓ ਐਲਬਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ 30-35 ਕੰਸਰਟ ਐਲਬਮਾਂ ਰਿਲੀਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਲੇਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੀਅਲ ਵਰਲਡ ਰਿਕਾਰਡਜ਼, ਵਰਜਿਨ ਸੰਗੀਤ, ਓਕੋਰਾ, ਵਰਲਡ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ, ਸ਼ਾਨਾਚੀ, ਨਾਸੈਂਟੇ, ਅਮਰੀਕਨ ਰਿਕਾਰਡ, ਈਐਮਆਈ ਆਰੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਫਰਾਂਸ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ 40-50 ਕੈਸਟਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਈ.ਐਮ.ਆਈ. ਲੇਬਲ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਨਵੇਂ ਐਲਬਮਾਂ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
