ਜੀਵਨ

ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਦੋ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਕੋਲਕਾਤਾ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਨੂੰਨ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਮਾਰਕਸਵਾਦੀ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹਿਤ-ਅੰਦੋਲਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਪੀਆਈ (ਐਮ) ਦੇ ਮੁਖ ਪਤਰ ‘ਸਵਾਧੀਨਤਾ’ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ। ਫਿਰ ਸਾਹਿਤਕ ਪਤ੍ਰਿਕਾ ‘ਕਲਮ’ ਦਾ ਸੰਪਾਦਨ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਮਹੇਸ਼ਵਰੀ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਨ ਸੰਸਥਾਨ ਬਾਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਿਕ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਚੰਦ ਮਹੇਸ਼ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।[2][3]
