ਸ਼ੀਲਾ, ਪਿੰਡ ਦੀ ਕੁੜੀ 1935 ਦੀ ਬਣੀ ਕੇ. ਡੀ. ਮਹਿਰਾ[1] ਦੁਆਰਾ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਤ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਹੈ।[2][3] ਇਹ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵਾਲੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਹੈ।[2] ਇਹ ਕਲਕੱਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਹੌਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੀਲੀਜ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਅਲੀ ਖਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੇ. ਡੀ. ਮਹਿਰਾ ਨੇ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਸੁਰਬੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ। ਬੇਬੀ ਨੂਰਜਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਇਕਾ[1] ਪੱਖੋਂ ਇਹ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਸੀ।[4]
