ਨਾਦੌਣ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਜੋ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਗਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਲੜੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
ਕਾਰਨ
ਪਹਾੜੀ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਮਿੱਤਰਤਾ ਹੋਣ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਬਿਲਾਸਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਭੀਮ ਚੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੁਗਲ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਟੈਕਸ ਦੇਣਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ। ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਭੀਮ ਚੰਦ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਘ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ।
ਲੜਾਈ
ਪਹਾੜੀ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰ ਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਤੇ ਜੰਮੂ ਦੇ ਮੁਗਲ ਸੂਬੇਦਾਰ ਮੀਆਂ ਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ੧੬੯੦ ਇ: ਵਿੱਚ ਅਲਿਫ ਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਲੜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਗੜਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ਚੰਦ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਜਾਰਵਾਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਦਿਆਲ ਨੇ ਅਲਿਫ ਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਥ ਦਿਤਾ। ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਰਾਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਪਹਾੜੀ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਪੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। ਕਾਂਗੜਾ ਤੋਂ ੩੨ ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੂਰ ਬਿਆਸ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ 'ਤੇ ਨਾਦੌਣ ਨਾਮੀ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਯੁੱਧ ਹੋਇਆ। ਇਸ ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਦਿਤਾ ਤੇ ਅਲਿਫ ਖਾਂ ਹਾਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਭੱਜ ਗਿਆ।
ਨਾਦੌਣ ਦੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਭੀਮ ਚੰਦ ਨੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਅਲਿਫ ਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝੌਤਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸਘਾਤ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁੱਖ ਮਨਾਇਆ।
