ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ : ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਸਿੱਖ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ) ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਆਰ. ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਸੰਸਦ ਵਿਚ ਬ੍ਰਿਟੇਨ ਵਿਚਲੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਯੂ.ਕੇ. ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ, ਗੈਰ-ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਂ, ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਹੈ।

ਇਤਿਹਾਸ

ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਆਰ. ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਜਸਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਲ 2012 ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਖੋਜ ਵਿਸ਼ਲੇਸ਼ਕ, ਵਕੀਲ, ਵਿਦਿਅਕ, ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵਕ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਟੀਮ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਆਰ. ਉੱਤੇ ਸਵੈਇੱਛੁਕ ਅਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।[1] ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦਾ ਸੰਪਾਦਕ ਜਗਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਿਰਦੀ ਐਮ.ਬੀ.ਈ. ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਅੰਕੜਾ ਵਿਗਿਆਨੀ ਹੈ।[2] [3] ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਲਗਭਗ 500 ਘੰਟੇ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ £ 30,000 ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।[4] ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਆਰ. ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ "ਯੂ.ਕੇ. ਵਿੱਚ 432,000 ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸਿੱਖ ਆਬਾਦੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।"[5] ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਆਰ. "ਬ੍ਰਿਟੇਨ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਕੁਝ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਸਰਵੇਖਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ" ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ।[6][7]

ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਆਰ. ਸੰਸਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਲਾਂਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।[8][9] ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਸੰਸਦ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਆਮ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਖੋਜ ਅਤੇ ਸਫੈਦ ਪਰਚੇ ਦਾ ਹਵਾਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ, ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਟ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।[10] [11] ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੋਰ ਗੈਰ-ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯੂ.ਕੇ. ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ।[12] ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਆਰ. ਨੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਟੇਨ ਵਿਚ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਪਾੜਾ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੈ।

2019 ਵਿਚ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।[13]

ਬ੍ਰਿਟੇਨ ਵਿਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰਿਤ ਇਹ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਕਈ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੰਗਠਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਇਕ ਜਾਣ-ਪਛਾਣ, ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੀ ਪੜਚੋਲ, ਖੋਜ ਵਿਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਚੁਣੇ ਗਏ ਫੀਡਬੈਕ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।[14] ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਿਫ਼ਾਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੰਬੋਧਿਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਧਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਆਰ. ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ 'ਤੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਕੇਂਦ੍ਰਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।[15][16][17][18][19][20] 2018 ਵਿੱਚ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੀ,[21] ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਿੱਟੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਟਿਸ਼ ਸਿੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਬੰਧੀ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।[22]

ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਾਲ ਉੱਤਰਦਾਤਾ ਇੱਕ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇੰਟਰਨੈੱਟ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨਾਲ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ।[23]

  • ਸਾਲ 2018 ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ, ਓਂਕਾਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਪਕ ਟਰੱਸਟੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਯੂ.ਕੇ. ਵਿੱਚ ਫਾਊਂਡਿੰਗ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਐਮ.ਬੀ.ਈ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਇਹ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਏਸ਼ੀਆਈ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਉਮਰ ਦਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।[27]
  • ਸਾਲ 2017 ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ, ਜਸਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ (ਬੈਰਿਸਟਰ) ਨੂੰ ਯੂ.ਕੇ. ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਏਕਤਾ ਲਈ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਓ.ਬੀ.ਈ. ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਇਹ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਉਮਰ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ।[28]
